Charlie is about a year old. He is a super fun and happy pup. He loves sitting in your lap and being a companion whenever he can. He is a little skittish at first due to his circumstances before he was rescued. He was an abused pup who was left at the shelter one day by his former family. Charlie loves to be with children and other dogs. He loves to play and really enjoys being around his people. He is potty trained, but needs some reinforcement. He would really benefit having a doggy door. Charlie would love to find his furever home this summer and finally find a place to rest his paws.     This little boy is named Slugger! The name Slugger has many meanings. Our little Slugger is strong for staying alive out on a busy street as a stray. Slugger gets along very well with other dogs. We're guessing his age to be three years old. He only weighs 10.4 pounds. UPDATE: Slugger LOVES carrots! He is not good with dogs who are larger than him. He would do best if he was the only furkid. He is a one person dog and mainly loves women. Slugger thinks all children are monsters in disguise

PIease Read Before Adopting a Chihuahua in Wyoming
Chihuahua Dogs can make good pets in Wyoming if they match your IifestyIe. Chihuahuas are high strung, yappy, tiny dogs. Chihuahuas are loyal to the point of possessiveness and obsession with their masters. Chihuahuas are bold, high energy dogs that make wonderful companions for their owners but are suspicious of strangers. Chihuahuas are not well suited to families with children due to the dogs' defensiveness and tendency to snap when provoked. Chihuahuas need to be thoroughly socialized. Despite their small size, Chihuahuas are often aggressive with other dogs. Chihuahuas do fine living in an apartment but need plenty of daily exercise.
