7lbs all white thick beautiful fur. Left knee is not in socket but he gets around fine and jumps up on furniture no problem. I watch his weight to keep pressure off his knees , he stand on the scale for me to get weighed , good obedient guy . He would do well with one retired person who can be with him a lot , we rescued him 5 years ago from going to a shelter because the person who had him was moving and couldn't take him with her. He doesn't like to go for walks . In a crowd I always hold him or he likes to get in a cloth shoulder bag,at home he doesn't like to be held but always wants to sit with you , he likes to sleep under the ... (Read More)covers or on a chair in the same room, He has marked my house a few times ,I try to have him in the room I'm in he doesn't like to be alone.we put him in the bathroom when we go out . We want to travel and when he comes back from being in a kennel he's lost weight from not eating while he was there. A few days is fine but we are planning months trips. He lets you know when the mail is here or someone else he will bark and growls at people, and as soon as they pet him he's in their laps. We love this little guy. He would be a great companion for a person living alone, he does not get under foot and waits while I go down stairs , He's missing a couple of teeth he's turned 10 in July . These small dogs live about 15 years . He in good health. Comes when I call him. A real cute guy (Less)

TALK ABOUT SWEETNESS! That is Butterbean. She is a 12 week old puppy who loves to play with her foster buddies. She is a mere 4 pounds right now and will probably not be a big girl full grown. Butterbean loves to cuddle, loves to play with her toys and all she wants is a nice new bed, a coat (preferably pink since she is a girly girl), a new blanket because she hears the weather in the north can be real cold. BRRRR! Please email for an application for this precious bundle of sweetness. PLEASE READ THE IMPORTANT INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE EMAILING US: Our rescue doesn't have an actual shelter building in your ... (Read More)area or mine. Therefore, it is not possible to meet the dogs and pups in person prior to their adoption. The dogs are brought up north from various southern states on a USDA transporter whose web site is and beginning every Friday morning through the last delivery on Sunday afternoon you can follow the transporter on Facebook by logging onto their site at and go to the search bar and type in Got Orphans Transport. This is a fun way to see all of the dogs and pups and perhaps even see your own as they travel to their forever homes. Please know that potty training is necessary for any dog of any age when acclimating to a new environment; please refer to for some great basic tips for all dog owners when transitioning a new pet into the family. PIease Read Before Adopting a Chihuahua in New Hampshire
Chihuahua Dogs can make good pets in New Hampshire if they match your IifestyIe. Chihuahuas are high strung, yappy, tiny dogs. Chihuahuas are loyal to the point of possessiveness and obsession with their masters. Chihuahuas are bold, high energy dogs that make wonderful companions for their owners but are suspicious of strangers. Chihuahuas are not well suited to families with children due to the dogs' defensiveness and tendency to snap when provoked. Chihuahuas need to be thoroughly socialized. Despite their small size, Chihuahuas are often aggressive with other dogs. Chihuahuas do fine living in an apartment but need plenty of daily exercise.
