Luna is approximately 2 years old, weighing about 8 lbs. She is her foster's little shadow, she's a happy and cuddly little girl. Luna is housetrained, crate trained, loves to go for walks (quick too), loves to ride in the car, loves steak with pumpkin and loves to nap! She's happy with kids and dogs. 8 lbs of love! No barking or whining. Little Lunda sits on the foster's desk watching her work, and wiggles her butt to greet the family when they get home. Luna would fit into any family, though we recommend no little, young kids just because she's so tiny. The foster's 2 year old child is a rough boy but yells GENTLE when he sees her. ...     Chi Chi is an 8 month old puppy and she needs to be in a home where the people are home for most of the day. She does not do well with small children and would NOT do well locked up in a crate hour after hour or left alone for long periods of time. She is a loving pup and wants to find her 'forever home' soon. Please email pepperten@metrocast.net for an application and information on this adorable girl. **PLEASE READ THE IMPORTANT INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE EMAILING US: Our rescue doesn't have an actual shelter building in your area or mine. Therefore, it is not possible to meet the dogs and pups in person prior to their adoption. ... (Read More)The dogs are brought up north from various southern states on a USDA transporter whose web site is www.gotransporters.com and beginning every Friday morning through the last delivery on Sunday afternoon you can follow the transporter on Facebook by logging onto their site at www.facebook.com and go to the search bar and type in Got Orphans Transport. This is a fun way to see all of the dogs and pups and perhaps even see your own as they travel to their forever homes. Please know that potty training is necessary for any dog of any age when acclimating to a new environment; please refer to www.aspca.org for some great basic tips for all dog owners when transitioning a new pet into the family. PIease Read Before Adopting a Chihuahua in New Hampshire
Chihuahua Dogs can make good pets in New Hampshire if they match your IifestyIe. Chihuahuas are high strung, yappy, tiny dogs. Chihuahuas are loyal to the point of possessiveness and obsession with their masters. Chihuahuas are bold, high energy dogs that make wonderful companions for their owners but are suspicious of strangers. Chihuahuas are not well suited to families with children due to the dogs' defensiveness and tendency to snap when provoked. Chihuahuas need to be thoroughly socialized. Despite their small size, Chihuahuas are often aggressive with other dogs. Chihuahuas do fine living in an apartment but need plenty of daily exercise.
