Rescue Me ID: 18-01-23-00319Rocky (male)
Rocky is an older chihuahua mix who came from Miami, Florida. He has been my companion for over 10 plus years and unfortunately can not live with us any longer. He needs a nice home where he can run and play infinitely. Loves to cuddle and support.

Rescue Me ID: 17-12-20-00039Princess (female)
Princess is a 14 pound chihuahua who spent the first 9 years of her life in one of the 'horrible 100' puppy mills in the midwest. She is her foster mom's shadow and loves to cuddle on the couch. Princess loves to play with stuffed dog toys that squeak and gets along with the other small dogs and cats in her foster home. She is doing well with potty training as long as she is taken outside regularly. She is learning to walk on a leash and requires a home with a fenced yard (no exceptions) to allow her to continue with this training and explore her world in safety. Princess did have a cherry eye removed from her left eye which requires her to have inexpensive over the counter eye drops to prevent dry eye. She is spayed, current on vaccinations, microchipped and recently had a dental. Suggested adoption fee for Princess is $225.00. If you are interested in meeting her complete an application from our website at www.revolutionrescue.com and we will be in touch! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-12-20-00006Leia (female)
Leia is a 12 pound chihuahua who spent the first 9 years of her life in one of the 'horrible 100' puppy mills in the midwest. She is very shy at first as she is learning that humans can be kind and good after spending years in an overcrowded cage with limited positive human contact. Leia has learned to trust her foster mom and showers her with kisses, but she will need a home with calm, patient humans who are willing to allow her to progress toward trusting them at her own pace. She enjoys other low energy dogs her size and also gets along well with the cats in her foster home. Leia is doing well with potty training as long as she is taken outside regularly. She is learning to walk on a leash and requires a home with a fenced yard (no exceptions) to allow her to continue with this training and explore her world in safety. Since she often takes the lead from other dogs' behavior, she would do best in a home with another dog or she'd love to be adopted with Princess or Chewie who she loves to cuddle next to in her foster home. Leia does have a heart murmur which she takes an inexpensive medication for once a day. Leia is spayed, current on vaccinations, microchipped and recently had her teeth cleaned. Suggested adoption fee for Leia is $225.00. If you are interested in meeting her complete an application from our website at www.revolutionrescue.com and we will be in touch! (Less)

This is Goober! Goober is an 11 yr old male chihuahua. He really wants to be loved so much. He has just joined us, but came from a loving home, and would do well with an older owner. He is fully up to date and ready for someone to love him.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Chihuahua in Nebraska
Chihuahua Dogs can make good pets in Nebraska if they match your IifestyIe. Chihuahuas are high strung, yappy, tiny dogs. Chihuahuas are loyal to the point of possessiveness and obsession with their masters. Chihuahuas are bold, high energy dogs that make wonderful companions for their owners but are suspicious of strangers. Chihuahuas are not well suited to families with children due to the dogs' defensiveness and tendency to snap when provoked. Chihuahuas need to be thoroughly socialized. Despite their small size, Chihuahuas are often aggressive with other dogs. Chihuahuas do fine living in an apartment but need plenty of daily exercise.
