FOSTER LOCATION: Nampa, ID The dictionary defines the word diva as a celebrated female singer; a woman of outstanding talent in the world of ,operaby extension in theatre, cinema and popular music. We define the word diva as an long legged beauty named Ute. Ute (OO-tuh) is a four-year-old female Chihuahua mix who hates the cold and hates the snow and makes sure you know about it. When her human family ended up having to move to Alaska Ute said no way was she going to the land of ice and snow and told her people to call Fuzzy Pawz to help find her a new home. This long legged beauty is well socialized and a very sweet dog who loves to ... (Read More)sit on your lap. Ute is a little timid at first and will bark at strangers (as is very common with this breed) so they know she is keeping an eye on them; but it doesn't take long for her to jump into a lap so she can get the adoration she deserves. She loves to be with her people and have them love on her and show how much they adore her. While Ute is not your typical performer she can be quite vocal at times. She will bark to let you know when she wants outside and will bark like crazy when playing with other dogs. Ute can be a bit of a diva and will whine and jump on you if you are ignoring her and she thinks she needs your undivided attention. Ute comes from a home with a second dog and loves to play and romp with them. Within minutes of arriving in her foster home Ute was playing chase around the house with the other dogs in the home. Ute would be happiest in a home with another dog that will play with her. We have been told that Ute also gets along with cats and why wouldn't she as long as they are part of her fan base. Ute is housebroken, but has little obedience training. She is not reliable on recall - especially if outside her own home and yard; she will do as she pleases when she pleases. She needs someone who will teach her some basics (no jumping and to come when called at the very least). Given her small and delicate size, and bad habit of jumping on people, Ute would be best a home without small children. Ute is a doll and has tons of love to give to the right household. You can apply for Ute by completing an adoption application on our website: http://www.fuzzypawzrescue.com/adoptionapplication.htm Ute has been spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped There is a $40 adoption fee for Ute And as every diva should she comes with a complete wardrobe of dresses, coats, and costumes!     Small white female chihuahua. Cute dog. I got her from a woman who found her as a stray who was wandering around her area for several days. I have only had her for 2 days, but she does not get along with our house cats and our smaller dog. She needs to go. She is friendly and outgoing, but should be an 'only child'.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Chihuahua in Idaho
Chihuahua Dogs can make good pets in Idaho if they match your IifestyIe. Chihuahuas are high strung, yappy, tiny dogs. Chihuahuas are loyal to the point of possessiveness and obsession with their masters. Chihuahuas are bold, high energy dogs that make wonderful companions for their owners but are suspicious of strangers. Chihuahuas are not well suited to families with children due to the dogs' defensiveness and tendency to snap when provoked. Chihuahuas need to be thoroughly socialized. Despite their small size, Chihuahuas are often aggressive with other dogs. Chihuahuas do fine living in an apartment but need plenty of daily exercise.
