Max is a three year old chihuahua mix. He is tan and has been neutered. Due to a change in my job, Max and his friend Baby spend long hours each day in a kennel. He is house broken and would make a wonderful companion dog. He is not current on shots due to time and money constraints. If you would like to adopt Max and Baby, that would be acceptable too. Baby is neutered and is two years old. Both are house broken, love to play, and love to sit on your lap. Neither has ever bitten anyone. Crate trained.

Rescue Me ID: 14-12-02-00685Reese (male)

Chihuahua Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Health: Needs to be Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Tiny boy Reese is finally ready for his forever home. He has had a rough go so far. He and his two siblings were born under a shed, then when he finally gets into a home his momma weans him before he is ready, then he was doing great on milk replacer and life was good, but he ended up with a tummy virus. Now he is all better and ready for a home of his own. He does not tolerate the cold well so he will need a home that is sensitive to his needs, his body does not hold heat well so he must have a sweater/jacket when outside and can only be outside long enough to take care of business. He is potty pad trained and likes to be swaddled and wear ... (Read More)cloths. He is a lap dog in every since of the word but he is too small to keep one warm. He does not do well with kids, they scare him most likely due to his size, so will not go to a home with small children. He is about 5 months old and a chi mix, no idea what with. He weighs about 2 lbs. He will only be adopted out locally so we can ensure he is neutered when he's ready, fill out an adoption application at http://www.anythingspawsablerescue.com/#!applications/c1c5p His neuter is included in his adoption fee at one of our vets. Unfortunately his adoption fee while may seem high it does not cover all the medical cost he has incurred. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-11-10-00054Lovie (male)

Chihuahua Mix    Age: Young Adult

Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Meet Lovie, a 3 year old pomchi whose name says it all. This little guy is potty trained but needs a home where his people are home most of the day as he has separation anxiety. He does not tear stuff up but rather just drools uncontrollably. He is about 10lbs, shy at first but warms up pretty fast. He came from a hoarding situation and was found when his owner passed away. He was very food aggressive and nervous, he was adopted from his local shelter twice and returned before a wonderful lady took him home to work with him. He is now ready for a forever home with someone who is patient and loving. He would make a great truck driving ... (Read More)partner as well. Rescue Me ID: 14-11-08-00138Fred (male)

Chihuahua Mix    Age: Young Adult

Health: Needs to be Neutered

Fred is a 2 year old fawn/golden Chihuahua who came to the rescue with his gal-pal Ginger. They make a lovely couple and we'd like to see them adopted together. Excitement and energy are Fred's standard for living. He walks OK on leash but likes to take the lead and set the pace. Curious about everything going on, he is well suited for a busy, active household. Fred enjoys toys and play, appears well socialized and kennels well. To meet him, or them, stop in during rescue hours 11 am - 4 pm daily. *Fred will be neutered before going to his new home.

Rescue Me ID: 14-10-17-00536Chubby (male)

Chihuahua    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

FOSTER LOCATION: Boise, ID Sweet little Chubby looks like he is a Corgi trapped in a Chihuahua body; making him the cutest dog this side of the Continental Divide. This little man is 7 years old and just a sweet heart. Chubbs takes a little while to feel comfortable with new people and so can be a little stand offish until he gets to know you; he's not mean about it he's just shy. While he loves to be close, he prefers not the center of attention. He likes to follow his foster mom around and sit right next to her but doesn't actually get in her lap very often. This should change over time; once he has a home that is his very own and he ... (Read More)finds that special person who will bring him peace. When we took Chubby from the shelter he was totally in love with one of the workers there and was all over her seeking her attention. This boy didn't have the best of lives and did not grow up learning to be a normal happy, playful dog and sadly never learned how to play with toys. He is however very good with other dogs, having lived with lots of them in the past this isn't surprising. Chubby would probably do best in a household with another dog that he can model behavior after or with an owner that has lots of time to devote to him. He is very quiet in the house and perfectly house trained. While Chubbs is okay with kids he would need to be in a home with children who know to respect his wanting to be left alone at times. Loud, running kids would make him shut down. Chubby also met a cat while he was in the shelter and didn't seem to care about it one way or the other so we think he'd be fine with them. He loves to jump up on the couch and likes to sleep with his doggie friends in your bed. He is a great little traveler, he went to Cascade last weekend and he slept the whole way. Loves to just sit in the car so have to watch just leaving the door open in the garage or he jumps in and falls asleep. Chubby is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped If you can offer Chubby a lifetime of happiness and learning please fill out the application for her at http://fuzzypawzrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application-2/ and her foster Mom will get back to you quickly. There is a $40 adoption fee for Chubby (Less)
